Through smart, strategic thinking and engaging design, Meg works closely with clients to create enriching brand experiences, and form longstanding partnerships.
Meg studied Visual Communication Design at The Ohio State University. She then spent the next decade honing her craft at award-winning design agencies—helping to shape brands for a broad range of clients, from a now nationally known artisanal frozen confectioner to some serious arts organizations and educational institutions.
Then one day in 2009, she realized something big. She was ready to be in the driver’s seat. To work face-to-face with each client to understand their goals, and to be accountable for creating design that not only looks good, but also delivers real results. And so Meg Russell Design came to be.
Here, one underlying belief guides all of Meg’s work: design matters. It should be thoughtful—directed by a brand’s challenges and goals, informed by an audience’s needs, and inspired by an exploratory approach. Most importantly, it should be as unique as the brand itself.
Her work has been recognized by PRINT, HOW, and Communication Arts Magazines, as well as several other design publications. Meg is an avid cyclist, runner, loves classic movies and French culture, and getting lost in the woods as often as possible. Meg lives in Clintonville with her husband, Jeremy, their four year old son, Watson, twin babies, Mabel and Henrik, and fiesty pooch named Potch, a Jack Russell terrier.
